Koronn of Toloska

The Three Houses of Toloska

The House of Zawichost - Bresigau

For a brief time, the crowns of Oldaska, Toloska and Jenka were united in the person of Wladislaw Zawoichost. He was elected to the throne of Toloska due to his maternal tie to the House of La Varra, which had intermarried with the House of Taskony. His rule was brief, but it set a precedent for future Zawichost claims.

Wladislaw Zawichost

After the brief rule of the Raven King, Janos Lajos, the House of Zawichost once again attained the throne of Toloska. This cadet branch of the ruling dynasty of Oldaska eventually merged with the House of Bresigau and steered the fate of the Koronn of Toloska. In the Narrlachi Wars, this house almost met the same fate as Toloska, with much of the family being wiped out and the current holder of the Koronn of Toloska ruling only Jenka.

The House of Lajos

In a time of crisis, Janos Lajos was elected by the Sejm to rule Toloska. His rule, though long, was fraught with difficulty. Having no legitimate children to inherit the crown, his dynasty died with him, though his bastard son would go on to fame and fortune as a Hetman in Taratha.

The House of Zapol

During the dynastic struggles that brought the House of Bresigau to the throne of Toloska, the lords of Eastern Toloska revolted and elected their own Koronn. For fifty years, the House of Zapol ruled half of Toloska and the popular acclaim of the people. Only necessity forced Jan II to abdicate in favor of his Bresigau rivals.
